When it comes to drinking, we got it all wrong. Mostly because drinking is a big business for cities and the industry, so no Real research has been done. Like, we have no idea, how many drunks have been accused of rape, molestation, child physical and sexual abuse, assault, drunk driving, accidents, being hurt, suicide, and overdosing?? We do now know drinking is extremely dangerous by overseas research, so why is it not regulated better, then other dangerous drugs.
How can we say, a drunk is guilty of manslaughter, if they have an accident, but someone who gets hurt, by a drunk isn't responsible for there own actions? A Drunk always progresses from temporary insanity to insane, a time when after that first drink they begin losing control of there actions and like a child must soon have someone else take control of there actions, not even able to blame anyone for anything, in theory.
This has to change, Society allowed these people to drink, so it is the responsibility of society to protect them, from themselves and others. We need to do a better job at making laws to protect drunks from getting to the point of losing control, or be responsible for who they hurt and make a drunk responsible for there own actions if they get hurt while drunk. So next time remember blame Society if you get hurt by a drunk or one kills someone.
