So many of our laws on the State, books (Statutes) were made years ago before changes by research over the years in forensic psychology, constitution, neurology, and diseases proved that what made them illegal then, in fact changed, making the laws now on the books illegal (unconstitutional), because they were never updated as the environment changed.
For example; the law giving Blacks rights in fact was " with liberty and justice for all", but it Blacks were not included, you see as time evolved we realized Blacks were also human deserving the same rights as the rest if us, so we amended the constitution, we cannot make laws that causes discrimination against anyone, as they did long ago, to prevent this, we made sure we review the laws from time to time to be sure they were still legal, but somewhere along the line, it all stopped, a huge miscarriage of justice and illegal laws slipped through. This wasn't negligence, this was in fact caused by corruption by special interest groups paying our leader to look the other way.
This is how Russia got away with what they are doing, they paid our corrupt leaders to look the other way, so now they are controlled by Russia by blackmail, "ill tell them you took money from me." It is our fault, my friend, we allowed our servants to think they were our leaders and wonder why Trump thinks he is. Until you so called leaders, update our State laws and get rid of those that cause any discrimination against any citizen, this will only get more out of hand. Most leaders and citizens don't know you can't make a law based on religion, or make it illegal to be normal, or make a law that will cause discrimination, agrees with psychology, neurology and updated facts.
